Phyllis Carfagno Ware, 66, of 1114 Park St. died Wednesday at University Hospital. A life resident of Syracuse, Mrs. Ware was employed by the Syracuse City School District for 10 years. Surviving are two sons, Donald L. III and Jeffrey L., both of Syracuse; five daughters, Barbara J. Harm and Carol J., Tracy J. and Dannette J. Ware, all of Syracuse, and Judith A. Ware of Deansboro; two brothers, Joseph Carfagno of Central Square and Neil Carfagno of Syracuse; four sisters, Angeline Mitton and Rose Fancher, both of California, Mary Falso and Antoinette Lofaro, both of Syracuse; five grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Services will be at 9:30 a.m. Saturday at Pirro & Sons Funeral Home. Burial will be in Assumption Cemetery. Calling hours are 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the funeral home, 514 Turtle St. Contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or Humane Society of Central New York.
