PRESTON, Idaho – Thella Egbert Ware, 82, passed away Thursday, April 26, 2001, at the Franklin County Nursing Home in Preston. She was born Feb. 1, 1919, in Fairview, Idaho, to James and Mary Jones Egbert. She married Roy A. Ware on Sept. 8, 1943, in Hot Springs, New Mexico. Their marriage was later sealed in the Logan, Utah, Temple. She enjoyed sewing and crocheting. She loved her involvement with the Senior Citizens. She was a steadfast member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She was also involved with Daughters of the Utah Pioneers. She is survived by three sons, Roy J. Ware, Salt Lake City, Utah, Leslie R. Ware, Salt Lake City, Utah, Rod L. Ware, Preston; eight grandchildren and by four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Roy; four brothers and three sisters. Funeral services will be held at noon on Wednesday, in the Preston South Stake Center, 55 E. 100 South, with Bishop Robert Miller conducting. Friends may call from 10 to 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, at the stake center. Interment will be in the Whitney, Idaho, Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Webb Funeral Home.
