Ferrell E. Ware Obituary, 2003

Ferrell E. Ware, 72, of El Dorado, died Saturday, May 3, 2003, at Medical Center of South Arkansas. Born July 9, 1930, in El Dorado, he was the son of Enoch Monroe and Nancy Lillian Martin Ware. A retired field representative for the Social Ware Security Administration, he was a 1954 graduate of Harding College with a bachelor’s degree in business administration and economics. He was a charter member of Harding’s President’s Development Council, serving more than 25 years. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army from 1955-1957. He was a member of Hillsboro Street Church of Christ, where he was an elder for 30 years, song leader and Bible class teacher. He was preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include his wife, Anita Robertson Ware of El Dorado; three daughters, Nancy Bailey and husband, David, of El Dorado, Angela Heid and husband, Dave, of El Dorado, and Daphna Campbell and husband, Chuck, of Bryant; one brother, Kenneth Ware and wife, Frances, of St. Charles, Mo.; one sister, Mona Crawford and husband, Donald, of El Dorado; four granddaughters, Sarah Dawne Bailey, Whitney Angela Heid and Kalyn Lauren Heid, all of El Dorado, and Kelsey Elaine Campbell of Bryant; and three grandsons, Joel Ware Bailey and Micah David Bailey, both of El Dorado, and Brett Daniel Campbell of Bryant. Funeral will be at 2 p.m. on Tuesday at Hillsboro Street Church of Christ with Ken Stegall officiating. Burial will be in Bethel Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery under the direction of Young’s Funeral Directors. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 tonight at the funeral home. The family will be at 1621 Ponderosa Drive, El Dorado. Memorials may be made to Hillsboro Street Church of Christ, 1322 W.
