Cordia Ware Jones, 95, of Bradenton, Fla., formerly of Owensboro, died Wednesday, Aug. 29, 1990, at the home of her daughter in Bradenton. She was born in Daviess County and was a member of Third Baptist Church of Owensboro. Her husband, Weaver W. Jones, died in 1956, and her son, Clyde Maurice Jones, died in 1976. Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Norman (Annette) Hood of Bradenton; five grandsons, Bobby Hood of Owensboro, Wayne Jones of Huntsville, Ala., Terry Jones of Orange Park, Fla., Norman Hood Jr. of Shelbyville, Ky., Brent Hood of Bradenton; two granddaughters, Mrs. Paul A. (Alyce) Hicks of Owensboro and Mrs. Clint (Carol) Wright of Bradenton; 15 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren. Services are at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday at Glenn Funeral Home. Burial in Owensboro Memorial Gardens. Visitation 4-8 p.m. Monday and after 9 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
