Juanita “Cooney” Ware Foster, 73, of 1235 Cary Court, Owensboro, died Wednesday, Sept. 27, 2000, at her home. The Daviess County native was a homemaker. She was a member of Buena Vista Baptist Church and the church’s Fidelis Sunday school class and enjoyed playing bridge. Survivors include her husband, Thomas L. Foster; a son, Terry Foster of St. Joseph; a daughter, Stacy Meyocks of Manhasset, N.Y.; and five grandchildren. Services are at 10 a.m. Monday at Glenn Funeral Home in Owensboro. Burial will be in Owensboro Memorial Gardens. Visitation is from 1 to 6 p.m. Sunday and after 9 a.m. Monday at the funeral home. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to the American Cancer Society.
