Lyle G. Ware, 65, of Allyn died Feb. 21, 1998, at his home. He was born Nov. 22, 1932, in Sterling, Neb. He graduated from Irene S. Reed High School in Shelton. Mr. Ware spent more than 20 years in the Air Force. Survivors include a son, Mike Stevens of Allyn; a stepson, Richard Stevens of Grapeview; five stepdaughters; Shirley Laine, Carolyn Nunn, Linda Yates, all of Texas, Kelli Stevens-Roberts and Vicki Stevens, both of Tacoma; a longtime friend, Virginia Stevens of Tacoma; and numerous grandchildren. At the family’s request, no services will be held at this time. Arrangements are under the direction of McComb Funeral Home.
