Alma L. Ware, 81, of Greeley, died Saturday, March 21, 2009.
She was born Tuesday, Oct. 4, 1927, in Kansas City, Mo., to Clarence and Tillie Worth.
Ware moved from Kansas City to Greeley in 1972.
She graduated from Westport High School in Kansas City, Mo., in 1944.
She was a homemaker.
On Feb. 19, 1944, she married Forrest Ware in Kansas City, Kan. They shared 65 years of marriage. He survives of their home.
She was preceded in death by her father, Clarence Worth; mother, Tillie Worth; son, Stephen Ware; and sister, Dolores Blanton.
Other survivors include a daughter, Trenice Johnson, and her husband, Rick, of Greeley; son, Ron Ware, and his wife, Pam, of Kansas City, Mo.; four sisters, Shirley Narron and her husband, Bill, of Bella Vista, Ark.; Bobbie McConnell, of Lake Lotawana, Mo.; Beverly McDaniel, of Blue Springs, Mo.; and JoAnn McMillin and her husband, Lee, of Kansas City, Mo.; six grandchildren, Scott Johnson, of Wichita; Shannon Emert, of Lane; David Johnson, of Greeley; Kory Ware, of Kansas City, Mo.; Steve Ware, of Hawaii; and Jennifer Ware; nine great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
Ware has been cremated, and services will be at a later date.
