Harry Ware Jr. Obituary, 2012

Harry Ware Jr., 84, Topeka, passed away Monday, Nov. 12, 2012.

Harry was born April 22, 1928 in Topeka, the son of Harry and Grace Esta Loy Ware, Sr. He served our country in the US Air Force in the USA and Japan. He attended Washburn University. Harry was active in the travel industry for over 60 years as travel agent and owner of King Travel Service, later Jade Travel.

Harry leaves to mourn his passing, his special friend, George Loepp, of Nanaimo, Vancouver Island, Canada; his cousin, Clelia Chevalier, Pasadena CA; numerous other cousins, nieces and nephews; brother-in-law, Jerry Sage, FL; and many friends. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Flynn Ware, on Nov. 6, 2007.

A special thank you to the 3rd floor and Critical Care nursing staff as well as the doctors who attended Mr. Ware at Stormont Vail Hospital. Their dedication and unending devotion to their patients was always in evidence and a mere thank you seems too inadequate.

A committal service of Mr. Ware’s cremated remains will be at 2 p.m., Monday, Dec.3, 2012, at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Washburn University Foundation, sent in care of Kevin Brennan Family Funeral Home, 2801 SW Urish Rd, Topeka KS 66614. Online condolences may be sent to www.kevinbrennanfamily.com.
