POWNAL – Kenneth D. Ware, ” Kenny’, 60, a resident of County Rd., died, August 31, 2015.
Fie was born in Bennington on November 8, 1954. Fie was the son of the late Gordon and Caroline (Cutler) Ware. Ken received his early education in Pownal.  He was a 1972 graduate of the Mount Anthony Union High School.

Following high school Ken began working at Lauzon’s Machine Shop in Bennington where he was employed for 37 years.  An avid hunter, Ken enjoyed riding motorcycles, going to the Stock Car races and was a member of the Stratton Racing Pit Crew.

The burial will take place in the family lot at East Lawn Cemetery in Williamstown.

FUNERAL NOTICE:  Will be held at Sherman Burbank Memorial Chapel at East Lawn Cemetery in Williamstown, MA on Saturday, September 5, at 10a.m. 628 Main St., Bennington, VT 05201. Off¡ce of  the Mahar and Son Funeral Home.

There will be no calling hours. If friends desire contributions in memory of Kenneth D. Ware may be made to the VNA and Hospice of Bennington

Survivors include his three children, Erin Gamage (Fred) of Fort Lawn, SC, Jordan Ware (Dana) of Burlington, and Katelyn Dupee (Chris) of Burlington: sister LesNe Messina, grandson, Linus Dupee of Burlington; a brother, Butch Ware (Linda) of Saint Petersburg, FL and a sister, Gail Ware Deery of Saint Petersburg, FL along with several nieces, nephews and cousins. Fie was predeceased by a brother, Francis Ware and a surrounded by friends and family.
