WARE Winifred (Winnie) E. (nee Erdman), 103, died peacefully in her sleep at Francis Asbury Manor, Ocean Grove, NJ on Monday March 10, 2008. Born in Allentown, PA, on December 22, 1904, she lived most of her life in Westwood, NJ. Winnie is predeceased by her husband Harold, two sisters Elsie and Janet, and two brothers, Jack and Herb. Winnie is survived by her two sons, Leigh and his wife Pat of FL, David and his wife Lynne of NJ, five grandsons, seven great-grandchildren, sister-in-law Shirley Erdman, and many nieces and nephews. Winnie was a member of the Westwood United Methodist Church of Westwood, played violin in the Ridgewood Symphony, was an active volunteer for many years at the Bergen Community Blood Center of Paramus and the Goldberg Child Care Center of Westwood. Visitation will be held Thursday from 2-4 PM and 7-8 PM at Becker Funeral Home, 219 Kinderka-mack, Road, Westwood, NJ. Funeral service Friday March 14, 2008 10 AM at the funeral home. Interment to follow at George Washington Memorial Park, Paramus, NJ. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Winnie may be made to Francis Asbury Manor, 70 Stockton Ave, Ocean Grove, NJ 07756
