Augusta Ware, a homemaker, died Wednesday in a fire at her home in New Orleans. She was 89. Mrs. Ware was a lifelong resident of New Orleans. Survivors include a son, David Charles Ware; a daughter, Ollie Ware; a brother, Joseph Snow; 33 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren. A funeral will be held Thursday at 10 a.m. at Calvin J. Young Funeral Home, 2512 La Salle St.. Burial will be in Holt Cemetery. Davis Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
