Marjorie Smith Ware Obituary, 1988

Died noon Sunday, March 27, 1988, at her residence in Baton Rouge. She was 73, a native of DeRidder. Visiting at Rabenhorst Funeral Home, 825 Government St., 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday and after 8 a.m. Friday. Religious services at 9:30 a.m. Friday at the funeral home, conducted by the Rev. Frank Hipwell. Burial in Port Hudson National Cemetery. Survived by three sons, William L. Ware, San Diego, Calif., Ted O. Ware, Greenville, Miss., and Charles R. Ware, New Orleans; and six grandchildren. Preceded in death by husband, Owen W. Ware; a son, James W. Ware; and parents, James M. and Thelma Ford Smith. She was a member of Trinity Episcopal Church, Kappa Delta sorority, and Junior League of Baton Rouge. Memorial donations may be made to American Heart Association of Louisiana or Cancer Society of Greater Baton Rouge.
