Carole Frances (Olsen) Ware, age 78, died on June 5, 2013, after a valiant fight with cancer. She was the proud Air Force wife of the late Ltc. William (Bill) W. Ware. She was the devoted mother to Randy, Beth (Steve) Danielczyk, Chris (Danny) Kottak, and Lisa (David) Verret. Loving grandmother to Megan, Stephen, Michael, Paul, Katherine, Caroline, Laura, Lilly, Grace, Jody, Will, Libby and Annie. Carole is also survived by her brother, Bill Olsen of Golden Valley, MN. In her early years, Carole was a print ad artist and designer for Munsingwear in Minneapolis, Minnesota, where she was born. As an Air Force officer’s wife, she arranged and emceed fashion shows for the Officers’ Wives Club. After settling in Duncanville, TX, many years later, she became a top sales associate for J.C. Penney and Company. She was selected to travel to New York City and meet fashion designer Halston for the Company’s Halston clothing line. Despite her many successful work endeavors, her most treasured job was that of a mother to her four children. She was an avid golfer and played frequently at Woodcrest Country Club in Grand Prairie, TX, where she once shot a hole-in-one. She also enjoyed sharing stories of the many places and countries she had visited and lived, and the interesting friends she made as an Air Force wife. A private family service will take place at the Dallas-Ft. Worth National Cemetery on Monday, August 5, 2013. Carole will be inurned next to her husband Bill of 56 years.
