Mrs. Margaret A. Ware, a resident of Kenai, Alaska, since 1960, died at her home on Feb. 4, 2016, at the age of 98. She was born on Dec. 15, 1917, in Milan, Mo. Margaret moved to Kodiak, Alaska, in 1952, and in 1960, moved with her family to homestead in Kenai. She was an avid gardener and participated in numerous craft fairs

over the years. She was preceded in death by her husband of 47 years, John W. Ware. She is survived by her three sons, Roger Francisco, Lance Ware and Brandie Ware of Niskiski, Alaska; and daughter, Susan Ware of Anchorage, Alaska; her grandchildren, Robert Gibson, Sheldon Farquhar, Ancel Ware of Anchorage, Jeremiah Farquhar of Wasilla, Alaska, Joel Ware of Washington, John Gibson of Austin, Texas, Frieda Ware of Nikiski and Callie Hruby of South Dakota; and five great-grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to your favorite charity . Margaret will be missed by her family and many friends who loved her. A memorial service will be planned for a future date.
