She was born in Gaston Co, NC. She was the daughter of the late Paul Hartsoe Briggs and Maxie Hamrick Briggs. She was a member of Harvest Church, Charlotte, NC. She was a retired Real Estate Broker and owned and operated Yes Realty, Charlotte, NC. She was a NC licensed broker and a member of the National Association of Realtors.

SURVIVORS: Husband: William “Bill” P. Ware, Charlotte, NC Sons: Jerry Steven Ware and wife Leslie, Dartmouth, MA Paul Maxton Ware, Charlotte, NC Miles Edwin Ware and wife Stana, Gastonia, NC Brother: Dr. William Julius Briggs, and wife Angie, Savannah, GA 5 Grandchildren and 3 Great-Grandchildren.

GRAVESIDE SERVICE: Tuesday, November 28, 2006 3:00 P.M. Mountain Rest Cemetery, Kings Mountain, NC Rev. Ed Chidester, officiating.
