Deborah “Debbie” B. (Brooke) Ware, 52, the sixth of 12 children, was born on November 28, 1950. She departed this life on June 11, 2003. Debbie was born to Joseph and Ruth Brooke in Kansas City, MO. She lived most of her life in the Johnson County area. She was preceded in death by her father, Joseph Brooke Jr. and her brother, Ronald Brooke. She leaves to mourn a beloved son, Keith and his longtime girlfriend, Solitaire; her mother, Ruth Brooke; ten brothers and sisters, Robert, Diane, Pamela, Patricia, Joseph, Fred, Lynda, Dorothy, Scott and Michael; 34 nieces and nephews; 35 great-nieces and nephews; 28 great-nieces and nephews; as well as many very close and special friends; and her faithful dog, Maddy.
Debbie will be sadly missed; but lovingly remembered. As a beautiful mother and a best friend to many, she enjoyed life. She made sure everyone laughed and felt good about accepting all she offered. Debbie had an amazing enthusiasm, a ready smile and compassion for others. Debbie always focused on the positive, she asks that her passing not be mourned but that her life be celebrated as her family and friends enjoy each other’s company and remember all the joyous times they shared with her.
A celebration of her life will be held on Sunday, June 29, at Powell Gardens in Kansas City, MO. Debbie’s friends are invited to join the family from 5-9 p.m. to do what she loved most: be together, laugh and be happy.
