Donna Esther Ware-Black, 57, Grant City, Mo., formerly of Maryville, passed away Monday, Oct. 18, 2010 in Grant City. Born in Arkoe Mo., on Dec. 1, 1952 to Elvin Clutch and Mary Ellen Shelton Ware, she was of the Christian faith, and a Maryville High School graduate.
Survivors: Daughter, Cindy Black-Prokipchin, Kansas City, Mo.; sons: Tad (Raelette) Derks, Stanberry, Mo., Kelly Derks, Springfield, Mo., Levi (Rachel) Ware-Derks, Stanberry; brothers: Frank (Avis) Ware, Burlington, N.D., Elvin Jr. Ware, Bethany, Mo., David Ware, Kansas City, Mo., Mike Ware, Cherryvale, Kan., and Clutch Ware, S.C.; sisters: Darlene Ware and Mary Ware, both of St. Joseph, Mo., Phyllis Ware, Maryville, and Rita Ware, Grant City; 10 grandchildren: Lydia Babb, Belanna Babb, Jacob Yates, Grant City, Tanner and Taelyn Derks, Stanberry, Megan, unknown, Tyler, Gracie, Logan, and Adyson Ware, Stanberry; and a special four-legged friend that helped her through her illness, Millie; and by several nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, one brother, and a friend, Walter Derks.
Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 23, 2010 at the Bram-Danfelt Funeral Home, Maryville, Mo. Inurnment will be in the Miriam Cemetery, Maryville. No formal visitation is planned.
Memorials are suggested to the American Cancer Society.
