Frank Homer Ware Sr.
He was a farmer, had emphysema and as a result had to live in warmer climate. We lived in Waterbury Connecticut till about 5 when we moved to Florida. I remember the trip so well. I sat in the back with the windows rolled up as my grandfather smoked his pipe. I remember the car filling with the haze of smoke and I was so sick. He was a very strong minded man who was very traditional. My Father had bought my brother and I a racing car track for Christmas. we were called for dinner and did not come in so he came to the room we were in, opened the door and kicked the car track into many pieces. He seemed to have a very tender heart too, Ethel Shaw could talk to him and cool the savage beast in him.
