KIRKSVILLE – Lila Ware Ryan, 79, of Kirksville, died Wednesday, April 23, 2003, at Northeast Regional Medical Center in Kirksville.
The Davis-Playle-Hudson-Rimer Funeral Home in Kirksville is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Ryan was born March 21, 1924, in Greenup, Ill., to Claude and Fithian Long Ware.
She was married to James Robert Ryan on June 10, 1944, in Greenup.
Survivors include one son, Michael Alan Ryan and wife, Tanya, of Lone Jack; four stepgrandsons, Charles Roth, Nathan Goss, Matthew Goss and D.J. Goss; one sister, Helen Hayden of Greenup; and six nieces and nephews and their children and grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; an infant son; three sisters, Myrna Higbee of the state of Oregon, Dorothy Caram of the state of Florida and Ardoth Pepperdine of the state of Illinois; and one brother, Charles Ware of the state of Illinois.
