Marlene Cecilia Ware Feb 13, 1936 – Jun 24, 2015 Resident of Alameda Marlene Cecilia Ware the daughter of Charles Ware and Marcella Flemming was born in Chicago, IL, on February 13, 1936. She married Charles E. Lawrence Sr. in 1957 and from that union she had 2 sons, Chuck and David and a daughter, Angela. Marlene is preceded in death by her father, Charles.; mother, Marcella; sister, Euniece; brothers, Jack, Eddie, and Charles III; son, Chuck; niece, Tara and Charles E. Sr. She leaves to cherish her precious memories – sister, Patricia White; son, David Lawrence (wife) Rosalyn; daughter, Angela Parker (husband) Anthony; daughter, Stefani Lawrence; brothers, Douglas and Curtis; Carl Saddler; grandchildren: Dashiell, Nicholas, Simone, and Miles Lawrence, Brianna Lawrence, Tyler and Tia Parker; great niece, Kayla Hightower; sister-in-law Nita Ware and a host of other family and friends. Family and friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Marlene’s Life on Wednesday, July 1st at 7:00 p.m. at Greer Family Mortuary and Cremation Services, 2694 Blanding Ave., Alameda.
