Mrs. Lora Ware Germanson, 80, pioneer resident of this city and wife of Christopher Germanson, passed away this morning at 4:30 o’clock at her residence, 1018 Nebraska Street. She was born Feb. 4, 1862 in Oshkosh, the daughter of Nathanel and Mary Ware. After the death of her parents, when she was 6 years old, she lived with her foster parents, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Ballard. On May 30, 1889, she married Christopher Germanson at Sheboygan. Survivors are the husband, four daughters, Mrs. Miriam Prehn of Oshkosh, Mrs. Roy Goddard of Alliance, O., Mrs. Frank Rueping, Gibbstown, N.J., Mrs. Frank Jenkins, Beaver, Pa, and 12 grandchildren, one of whom, Doris Wille, lived with her at home and four great grandchildren. Two daughters, Mrs. Rhea Paschen and Mrs. Mary Slover, preceded her in death. Funeral services will be held Tuesday afternoon at 3 o’clock at the Mallery and Arhelgen funeral home with the Rev. Douglas O. Anderson officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home from 7 to 9 o’clock Monday evening. Interment will be in Riverside cemetery.
