age 83, passed away Saturday November 1, 2008 in Anaheim, California. Ray was born in Alabama City, Alabama, the son of Hardy and Edna Ware who preceded him in death. His nine brothers and sisters also preceded him in death. During WWII Ray served in the US Navy aboard the USS Sperry as a boatswain’s mate. Ray’s father, Hardy Ware, was a spit ball pitcher with the with Pittsburgh Pirates in the early 1900’s. His wife of 55 years, Eloise and two sons, Arthur Ray Ware of Franklin, Tennessee and David Hardyman Ware of Anaheim, CA; eight grandchildren, Ben, Brandon, Heath, Paige, Audra, Ethan, Erick, and Delaney Ware survive Ray.
