Mrs. Susan M. Ware, age 76, of Dupont, Indiana, passed away on Thursday, August 21, 2014 at the King’s Daughters’ Hospital in Madison. She was born on December 14, 1937 in Madison, the daughter of Walter and Gladys (Goley) Schmidt.

Mrs. Ware was a former bookkeeper and a Catholic. She enjoyed traveling, and from 1992 to 1999 lived on the road, always enjoying “the next town down the road.”

Survivors include her companion, Art Faust of Dupont; three daughters: Laura Chapman, Margaret Saenz and Teresa Bissonnette, all of Huachuca City, Arizona; two sons: Michael Ware of Mescal, Arizona, and Christopher Ware of Trenton, Texas; two brothers: David Schmidt of Fort Wayne, Indiana and Billy Schmidt of Madison; eight grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Annette Schmidt; and two brothers: George Schmidt and Bobby Schmidt.

No services will be held. Interment will be in Cochise Gardens of Rest in Benson, Arizona.
