Wendell Dale Ware Obituary, 2011

Wendell Dale (W.D.) Ware, age 79, of Clarence, MO, passed away Saturday, September 17, 2011, Luther Manor in Dubuque, IA. He was born January 16, 1932 at Winigan, MO, the son of Timothy Dale and Velma Evelyn Martin Ware. On August 6, 1955, he was united in marriage to Ivorine Jenell Stambaugh at Kirksville, MO. She preceded him in death on September 9, 2005. Wendell is survived by three children: Eldon Dale Ware of Colorado, Mike Stephen Ware and Debbie of Novinger, MO and Lowell Jeffrey Ware and Marie of Dubuque, Iowa; four grandchildren-Allison Stephenson, Alyssa Clark, Timothy Ware and Bradley Ware and one great-grandchild Brinlee Clark. He was preceded in death by his parents and wife. Wendell served his country in the United States Army from 1951 to 1953. He received his Bachelor?s Degree in Secondary Education from Northeast Missouri State in 1958, and his Masters Degree in School Administration in 1961 from Northeast Missouri State. Wendell was a School Administrator in Scott County schools in Iowa from 1963-1984 and moved to Clarence, Missouri as a School Administrator for the Shelby County R-IV School system from 1984 to 1994. He was a member of the First Christian Church of Clarence, MO. Wendell was a rancher, a farmer, and a dog breeder and enjoyed spending time with family and friends. Funeral services will be held at 8:00 pm on Tuesday, September 20, 2011 at the Greening-Eagan-Hayes Funeral Home in Clarence, MO. Visitation will be held at the Funeral Home in Clarence from 6:00 to 8:00 pm on Tuesday. Burial will be at the Price Cemetery in Winigan, MO at 10:30 am on Wednesday, September 21, 2011.
