Ware served in the U.S. Navy during World War II and farmed until he retired. He was a member of a small Baptist church in Arkansas.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 64 years, Susie Bouler Ware.
He is survived by a son, Charles Wayne Ware, of Swiftwater; two daughters, Sue (Tommy) Goss, of Leland, and Cindy (Will) Chipman, of Greenville; a brother, Homer Ray Ware, of Anza, Calif.; three grandchildren, Sarah (Chad) Canada, of Camden, Ark., Susan Goss, of Leland, and Kim Ware, of Swiftwater; and two great-grandchildren, Daulton Canada and Tanner Canada, both of Camden.
Visitation was from 10-11 a.m. today at Boone Chapel.
