Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. today at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Raleigh, with burial in Liberty Cemetery in Raleigh.
She was a member of Pearson Baptist Church in Pearl.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Claude Ware, and parents, David and Birdie Green Nichols.
She is survived by two sons, Mike Ware of Pearl and David Ware of Brandon; three daughters, Sandra Swilley, Brenda Brewer and Wanda Hollingsworth, all of Pearl; four sisters, Merle Mason and Loretta Ainsworth, both of Raleigh, Doya Duckworth of Bay Springs and Audrey Craft of Hattiesburg; seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. today, at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Raleigh, which is in charge of arrangements.
