Eleanor Louise Pelz Ware Obituary, 1997

FORMER TEACHER, 91 Eleanor Louise Pelz Ware, 91, a former Pennsauken teacher, died Tuesday at her home in Pennsauken.

Born in Williamsport, Pa., she was a longtime Pennsauken resident.

Mrs. Ware had been an elementary teacher at the Amon Heights School in Pennsauken in the late 1920s and early 1930s.

She was a graduate of Glassboro Normal School, now Rowan College, and Merchantville High School.

Mrs. Ware was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Merchantville.

She is survived by a son, Paul Wesley Ware; a daughter, Barbara G. Brown; five grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and a sister. She was the widow of Ralph Wesley Ware.

Funeral services were held Friday under the direction of Stephenson-Brown Funeral Home, Merchantville. Burial was in Locustwood Memorial Park, Cherry Hill.

Memorial donations may be made to the First Presbyterian Church, Maple Avenue at Centre Street, Merchantville, N.J. 08109.
