Farrell was born Aug. 1, 1935, in Beverly, W.Va., to Dale and Orpha (Higgins) Ware.
He married Jacqueline Schuler on Jan. 30, 1954, in Monterey, Va.
He is survived by his wife; four sons, Farrell Eugene Ware of Newman, Stephen Ware of Boca Raton, Fla., Wes Ware (wife, Becky) of Effingham and Ashley Ware (wife, Pam) of Savoy; and daughter Sharon Trudeau (husband, Robert) of San Antonio, Texas; two brothers, Brooks Stalnaker and Darrell Ware (wife, Patti); three, sisters Fern Thomas, Judy Helmick and Jewel Simon; eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Dwayne Ware; an infant son, Stuart Lance Ware; and an infant great-granddaughter.
Farrell owned and operated Ware’s Garage and Towing business from 1975 until his retirement.
He was an avid NASCAR fan, loved to fish and played the guitar.
A private family viewing will be held at Morgan Memorial Home.
