Robert A. Ware Obituary, 1992

ROBERT A. WARE, 75, of Sicklerville, died Wednesday at Our Lady of Lourdes Medical Center, Camden.

Mr. Ware retired in 1964 as a lieutenant colonel in the Army, in which he served for 30 years. He participated in World War II and the Korean War. He also worked as a project engineer for Owens-Illinois in Glassboro for 38 years, retiring in 1976. A lifelong Sicklerville resident, he was a member of Williamstown Lodge 166, Free and Accepted Masons, and the First United Methodist Church of Sicklerville. He also was an exempt member and past chief of the Sicklerville Fire Company. He was a former member of the Winslow Township Board of Education. He was the widower of Devaux S. Sharp Ware.

Survivors: three daughters, Diane Vezza of Sicklerville, Lois Ware of Williamstown and Marion Schwoeble of Glassboro; four grandchildren; two great- grandchildren, and a sister, Leila Hill of Sicklerville.

Services: viewing, 9 a.m. today, First United Methodist Church of Sicklerville, Church Road; funeral 11 a.m. today at the church; burial in the church cemetery. Farnelli Funeral Home, Williamstown.
