Humphrey H. Ware Obituary, 2007

LEOMINSTER — Humphrey H. Ware, 86, of 253 Legate Hill Road, Leominster, died Wednesday, Jan. 9, at the LifeCare Center in Leominster.He was born in New Bedford on Aug. 30, 1921, the son of the late Philip and the late Laura (Legate) Ware.

He served during World War II in the Merchant Marines from 1942 to 1944.

He was a steel worker at Wyman Gordon in North Grafton for 30 years, retiring in 1983.

He leaves four sons, Patrick Ware of Leominster, Philip Ware of Dennis, William Ware of Orange and Humphrey Ware Jr. of Leominster.

He was predeceased by his son, Mark Ware, who died in 2003; and by his daughter, Mary Ware, who died in 1990.
