Andy Joe Ware Obituary, 2005

RINGGOLD – Andy Joe Ware, 87, passed away Monday, Nov. 28, 2005, at his residence.

A lifelong resident of the North Georgia and Chattanooga areas, he was a member of West View Baptist Church. He was a retired employee of Combustion Engineering, where he worked for 20 years. He was a Master Mason of Quitman Masonic Lodge #106, where he was a member for 54 years, and was also a farmer for much of his life.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Annie Watkins Ware, and nine brothers and sisters, Tennie, Willann, Isaac, Bill, Dayton, David and Ted Ware, Ida Mae Longwith and Gertrude Longwith.

He is survived by his wife, Helen Trew Ware, of Ringgold; three sons, Phillip (Roselyn) Ware, of Highland Village, Texas, Peter Ware, of Dalton, Ga., and John Ware, of Newport Beach, Calif.; daughter, Martha Joe (Billy) Hullender, of Tunnel Hill, Ga.; daughter-in-law, Pamela Ware, of Dalton, Ga.; one sister, Faye Ensley, of Ringgold; one sister-in-law, Bertha Ware, of Ringgold; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday in the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Junior Bryson and the Rev. Leon Hullender officiating.

Interment will follow at Salem Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 5 to 9 p.m. today and Wednesday until funeral time at the funeral home.
