James Hamilton Ware Obituary, 1994

HUMPHREYS — James Hamilton ‘Pat’ Ware, 80, formerly of Humphreys, retired farmer and agriculture businessman, died Saturday in North Carolina Hospital in Chapel Hill, N.C. Services will be at 2 p.m. today at Royal-Hall Funeral Home in Clinton, N.C., with a Masonic burial in Clinton Cemetery there. A World War II Marine veteran, he was a deacon at New Hope Baptist Church in North Carolina. He was a member of Hiram Masonic Lodge No. 98 and the Scottish Rite. Mr. Ware, the husband of Thelma Fredreck Ware, also leaves a son, James H. Ware Jr. of Richmond, Va.; two sisters, Mildred King of Tupelo and Agnes Lawshee of Orlando; two half-sisters, Louise Nix of Clarksdale and Marge Rodgers of California; two half-brothers, Williams Evans of Rogersville, Ala., and Hansford Evans of Brentwood, Tenn., and two grandchildren.
