SIDON — Mary Elizabeth Ware Wooten, 86, of Sidon, formerly of Clarksdale, retired teacher, died Friday at Greenwood-Leflore Hospital. Services will be at 1 p.m. Sunday at Wilson & Knight Funeral Home of Greenwood with graveside serivces at 3 p.m. in Oakridge Cemetery in Clarksdale. She had worked for State Welfare Department in Clarksdale and was a member of Sidon United Methodist Church. Mrs. Wooten, the widow of Niles T. Wooten, leaves a brother, Scott Ware of Sidon, five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
