Martha Jean Ware, 93, of Fairmont, died peacefully at her home in the care of her two nieces and great-niece.

She was born Oct. 27, 1922, in Mannington, a daughter of the late Orick Earl Rinehart and Bonnie Pearl Satterfield Rinehart.

She was preceded in death by her husband, George Harwood Ware.

She is survived by many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband, Martha was preceded in death by her brother, Junior Rinehart; and her sister, Helen Lorraine McDougal.

Jean was a retired supervisor from the Westinghouse Corporation in Fairmont. She was a volunteer with Fairmont General Hospital, enjoyed boating on the Tygart River and square dancing. Mrs. Ware was an auxillary member of the B.P.O.E. Fairmont Elks No. 294, Fairmont Moose No. 9 and V.F.W. Post No. 629.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Ford Funeral Home, Ford Chapel, 201 Columbia Street, Fairmont. There will be no visitation or funeral service. A committal service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday in the Mount Zion Cemetery and Mausoleum with Reverend Stanley Merrifield officiating.
