Funeral service for Mr. Cecil Ware, 93 Tyler is scheduled for 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, February 13, 2018 at Greater Hopewell Baptist Church with Rev. Johnathan Preston as eulogist.

Burial will be in Redland Community Cemetery under the direction of Community Funeral Home of Tyler. Mr. Ware died February 7, 2018 at his residence.

He was born June 1, 1924 in Tyler and was a lifetime resident of Smith County. Mr. Ware was a member of Greater Hopewell Baptist Church. He attended Emmett J. Scott High School and served in the U. S. Navy.

Mr. Ware was preceded in death by his parents, brother and son.

Survivors include his wife: Mrs. Jewelene Ware, Tyler, 1 son, 4 daughters, 1 sister, 12 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.

Public viewing will be from 11:00 am 7:00 pm Monday, February 12, 2018 at Community Funeral Home of Tyler Chapel.
