Jonathan S Ware Obituary

Jonathan Scott “Jonny” Ware, age 50, of Barbeau, Michigan, passed away Sunday afternoon, July 7, 2019, at his home.

Jonny was born on May 7, 1969, in High Point, NC to Robert and Deborah (Surrett) Ware. He graduated from High Point Central High School with the class of 1987. He was a volunteer for the Bruce Township Fire Department, and a member of St Mary’s Sportsman’s Club. Jonny enjoyed gardening, fishing, hunting, snowmobiling, 4-wheeling, boating, and singing karaoke. Jonny loved spending time with his family, especially his kids and his dog: Drake.

Jonny is survived by his parents: Robert and Deborah (Surrett) Ware of Barbeau, MI; two children: Angela (Jonah) Hascall of Brimley, MI and Jonathon Ware of Sault Ste., Marie, MI; two grandchildren: Blake and Piper Hascall; two sisters: Katie (Cory) Kempf of Shelby, MT and Kimberly Ware of Barbeau, MI; and a niece: Breckynn Rachel Kempf of Shelby, MT. He is also survived by an aunt: Carolyn Cook of High Point, NC; a cousin: Pamela MacQueen of Amelia Island, FL; and his life partner: Romona Lalonde of Sault Ste. Marie, MI.

A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. on Thursday, July 11, 2019, at C.S. Mulder Funeral Home with Brother John Hascall officiating. Friends may gather at the funeral home from 1 p.m. until the time of service.
