KINGS MOUNTAIN — Jannie Rue McFarland Ware, 94, of Mary’s Grove Road, passed away on Saturday, August 18, 2018, at Grace Hospital in Morganton.

Mrs. Ware was born on May 21, 1924, in Cleveland County, N.C., a daughter of the late Henry Allen McFarland and Ella McNeilly McFarland.

Visitation will be from 1:45 to 2:45 p.m. on Friday, August 24, at Oak Grove Baptist Church in Kings Mountain.

Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Friday, August 24, at Oak Grove Baptist Church.

Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
