“1715 April 12. Reape, Sarah, of Shrewsbury, N. J., widow of William; will of (very much worn). Son William (of unsound mind); grandchildren—William Brindly, who has sons Francis, William, Thomas Reape and dau. Sarah, William and Sarah Marsh, who has son William, Sarah and Elizabeth Brindley; legacies to kinswoman Mary Ware, formerly wife of Edward Williams, to Edith, widow of Nathaniel Brier, living at Weymouth, England, to the sons of Joseph Brier and his daughters Elizabeth and Mary Brier, to the Shrewsbury Monthly Meeting of Friends. Farm at Pootepeck Neck, land at Rackpond near Manasquan, 400 acres in Freehold, land in Weymouth, England, Personal estate (slaves, a great and a little silver cup, five silver spoons). Executors—grandsons William Brindly and Wm. Marsh with William Larrance and William Hartshorne. Witnesses—William Corlies, Mary Corlies, Remembrance Lippincott. Codicill of January 7, 1715-6, confirms the will and is signed by John Webley, Ann Chambers and Stephen Colven as witnesses. Proved March 29, 1716, when Mary Corlies is called ‘alias Allen.’
