“An undated newspaper clipping of the obituary of Artie Taylor was found with the papers of her sister-in-law Birdie (Ware) Horrell:

Mrs. Artie Taylor Ware, 74, widow of J. W. Ware, died at her home, Philpot, Route 1, at 7:00 p. m. Monday.
She was a life-long resident of Daviess County, born 2 November 1875. She was a member of the Bethabara Baptist church.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. A. P. Tichey, Detroit, Michigan, Mrs. E. R. Eaty, Daviess County, and one grandson, E. R. Eaty, Jr.
Funeral will be held at 10:30 a. m. Wednesday at the Bethabara Baptist church, conducted by Rev. Elmer J. Forest. Burial Habit Cemetery.
The body is at the Owensboro Funeral Home, 734 Frederica Street, Owensboro.”
