Born in Media, Mrs. Ware was a resident of Rome and Floyd County, Georgia since moving from Chester in 1965.

The daughter of the late Herbert M. Miles and Ada Newlin Miles, she attended the West Rome Baptist Church and was a homemaker.

She was the widow of Charlie F. Ware, who died in 1980.

Mrs. Ware was also the mother of Essie W. Desper, who died in 1992 and the grandmother of Michael Segich who died May in 1970.

She is survived by two daughters, Lucy Ware Green of Rome, Ga. and Charlotte Ware Segich of Osceola Mills, Pa., eight grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and eight great-great grandchildren.

Services will be held today at the West Oak Chapel Funeral Home, with Dr. Charlie Bridges officiating. Burial will follow in the Oaknoll Memorial Gardens.
