Mrs. Sadie Ware Deeter Obituary, 1937

 Mrs. Sadie (Ware) Deeter, 77, wife of William H. Deeter, died 
of pneumonia at 7 o'clock last Friday evening at her home, 202 
North Street, Meyersdale.  She had been ill only a few days.  
Mr. Deeter is the owner of the Meyersdale Planing Mill.
 Mrs. Deeter was the mother of Mrs. Samuel Seese, Mineral Point, 
near Johnstown.
 A native of Somerset County, she was born in Allegheny Township 
July 3, 1860, a daughter of William and Mary (Coughenor) Ware.  
Mrs. Deeter was a member of Amity Evangelical and Reformed Church,
Meyersdale, for many years.
 Surviving are her husband and the following children:  Mrs. Seese, 
Mineral Point; Mrs. Ollie Boyer and Ware Deeter, both of Meyersdale;
Mrs. William C. Appel, Somerset; Mrs. Caroline Pfeiffer, New Castle;
William Bunn Deeter, Yuma, Ariz.; Miss Ida Deeter, at home; Warden 
Deeter, Valpariso, Ind., and Mrs. Joseph Shultz, Flint, Mich.
 She was a sister of Mrs. Harry Berkebile, Uniontown; Mrs. Anthony 
Shumock, Hyndman, Bedford County; Allen Ware, Kingman, Ariz.; John
Ware, Chloride, Ariz., Samuel Ware, Long Beach, Cal.; Albert Ware, 
Chicago, Ill., and Charles Ware, Punxsutawney.
 Funeral services took place at 2:30 p.m. Monday at the Deeter 
residence by Rev. Dr. B. A. Black, pastor of Amity Evangelical
and Reformed Church.  
 Interment in nearby Union Cemetery was directed by W. C. Price,
Meyersdale, mortician."
