"William S. Ware, 86, formerly of Midlothian, Md., died
Jan. 14, 1981 in Meyersdale Community Hospital where he
had been hospitalized two weeks.
He resided in Meyersdale since September with his grand-
daughter, Mrs. William Wagner.
He was born in Frostburg, Md., he was a son of the late
William and Mary Ware. He was a retired coal miner and a
member of the United Mine Workers of America.
His wife, Venona (Layman) Ware, preceded him in death in 1975.
He is survived by one son, Charles Ware of Midlothian; two
sisters, Mrs. Ida Brodbeck of Ocean Md.; and Mrs. Mary Jane
Canning of Baltimore, Md.; one brother, John Ware of Frostburg
and three grandchildren.
Friends were received at the Durst Funeral Home where
services were conducted with Pastor Ray H. Davis officiating.
Interment will be in Frostburg Memorial Park.
Pallbearers will be Irvin Morgan, Matthew Skidmore, John
Smith, Herman Winters, Raymond Winner and Louis Plummer."
