“Warren Woman’s Death Occurs Here
Mrs. Arminta Elizabeth Ware, 82, died Saturday at the Wells County Hospital where she was taken Friday evening from her home on Warren route 3. She had been ill six weeks from complications.
She was born in Salamonie Township and was a lifelong resident of Huntington County. She was a daughter of David S. and Martha Ann Huffman Gephart. She was married in 1885 to William M. Ware, who died Sept. 6, 1952.
Mrs. Ware was a member of the Warren Methodist Church.
Surviving are four daughters, Mrs. Nova Harper, Tiburon Calif.; Mrs. Opal Bonifield, Warren; Mrs. Mae Jemsem, Santa Rosa, Calif.’ and Mrs. Genevieve Anderson, Bluffton; three sons, Fay H. Ware, Vallejo, Calif.; Noel C. Ware, Lakeside, Wash., and Warren Ware, at home; 17 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, to brothers, Marion Gephart, Bluffton, and Charles Gephart, Warren route 3, and a sister, Mrs. Clyde Moore, Warren. One daughter and two sons are dead.
The body was returned from the H. Brown & Son Funeral Home to the family residence, three and a half miles east of Warren, where friends may call and where funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday with the Rev. Thurman Mott, Avilla, officiating, assisted by the Rev. Vance Davison, Bluffton. Burial will be in Woodlawn cemetery, Warren.
