Charles Amos Ware, 83, of Athens, died Saturday morning, Dec. 31, 2005, at his residence.
Native of McMinn County, he was a son of the late Garrett and Grace Dixon Ware, and was preceded in death by one granddaughter, Mia McKeehan.
Survivors include his wife, Polly Gregory Ware of Athens; one daughter and son-in-law, Dianne and Curt Mitchell of Athens; one brother and sister-in-law, Hoyt and Rachel Ware of Athens; one granddaughter and spouse, Lia and Billy Bayes of Athens; four great-grandchildren, Maranda and Elijah Fox, Dakota Powell and Lucas Bayes; three nieces, Doris Neely, Vicki Swafford and Katie Eaves; and one nephew, Terry Ware.
