WARREN, Ohio – Mrs. Delores M. Ware, 68, of Warren, Ohio, died Friday, April 23, 2004, at St. Joseph’s Health Center following an extended illness. She was born March 11, 1936, at East Bank, W.Va. to Robert Luther Bland and Ida Mae Petry. She attended school in South Charleston, and moved to the Warren area in 1954 from W.Va. Mrs. Ware was a loving and devoted homemaker who enjoyed reading her Bible, listening to gospel music tapes, country music, and dancing. She also enjoyed singing, and would visit nursing homes as part of a singing group to entertain the residents. She was a member of the General Assembly of God Church in Newton Falls, Ohio. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Blanche (Gust) Bays and Pearleen (Charlie) Dye. She is survived by her husband of 43 years, William V. Ware, whom she married Aug. 18, 1960; two daughters, Brenda Ware of New Comerstown, Ohio, and Delores Ware of Joplin, Mo.; two sisters, Laura G. Warrior of Dunbar, and Lillian (Gerald) Thomas of Beloit, Ill.; eight grandchildren, William Fairchild, Kristina Marie Rasey, Thomas Farris, Christina Roach, Susan Jarvis, Laura Slusher, George Slusher Jr., and Raynard Parrack Jr.; three great-grandchildren, Blaine Roach, William Jarvis, and Kayleigh Rasey; several nieces and nephews; and many loving friends. Service will be 1 p.m. Tuesday, April 27, 2004, at Robert H. Roberts-Clark Memorial Home in Warren, Ohio, with Pastors Glen Rader and Mitch Meaders officiating. Interment will be at Meadowbrook Memorial Park, Champion Twp. Visitation will be held 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, April 26, at Robert H. Roberts-Clark Memorial Home. Memorial contributions may be made to General Assembly of God Church in Newton Fall, Ohio.
