MARCELL C. WARE, 74, of Thornton died Sunday in Colorado Springs. He was retired. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday and from 9 a.m. to noon Thursday at Swan-Law Funeral Home, 501 N. Cascade Ave. Services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Mount Olivet Cemetery, Denver. Mr. Ware was born Aug. 30, 1914, in Doles Park, Kan., to Charles and Mary (Keefer) Ware. He was married July 14, 1936, to Kathryn Humphrey, who preceded him in death. Mr. Ware is survived by four sons, Richard Marcell of Centerville, Ga., Charles Edward of Irvine, Calif., Russell Leroy of Salt Lake City and Donald George of Denver; four daughters, Kathryn Kay Turvey of Salt Lake City, Donna June of Denver, Mary Jane Weldon of Colorado Springs and Barbara Maxine Brazzale of Cheyenne, Wyo.; two sisters, Goldie Seik and Hazel Schenck; 25 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
