Sedric M. Ware, 90, of Loveland, Colo., passed away Sunday, May 25, 2008, at McKee Medical Center, Hospice Center. He was born Nov. 18, 1917, in Lawton, Okla., the son of Louis Ben Ware and Clara Jane (Bennett) Ware. Sedric graduated from Loveland High School in 1935. He married Oma Mae Greer on Nov. 10, 1941, in Longmont, Colo. During World War II, he worked for Douglas Aircraft on the bombers that were used in the war. Sedric and Oma lived in Torrance, Calif., during that time. They moved to Aurora, Colo., where he spent 30 years working for United Air Lines as a lead mechanic. After retiring, he and his wife, Oma, moved back to Loveland in 1982 to be close to family. Sedric is survived by his daughter, Susan Williams and her husband, Roger J. (Skip) Williams Jr. of Houston, Texas; his only grandson, Shad Eugene Cabe, who is currently serving in the U.S. Army in Iraq, and his wife, Yvette Cabe; two great-grandchildren, Justin and Brookelyn; his sister, Geneva Hudson of Lake Havasu City, Ariz.; his brother, Jim (Bonnie) Ware of Tucson, Ariz.; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Oma in 1994; brother, Louis Ware; and his only son, Barry Ware in 2000. We want to thank a special friend, Evelyn Hall and her late parents, Colleen and Ralph Rodgers, who spent many hours caring for Sedric in his later years. Kathy Komloski, who allowed him to stay at home for the past 2 1/2 years by giving him her loving care and attendance. Cremation has been completed. Memorial services to be announced and held at a later date. Kibbey Fishburn Funeral Home and Crematory was entrusted with service arrangements.
