FORT SMITH, Ark. — Joe Ware, 66, of Fort Smith, died Wednesday, April 26, 2006, in a Fort Smith hospital. He was retired from Dixie Cup. He was a member of Boy Scouts of America and member of the Order of the Arrow. He was a member of Sebastian-Crawford County Labor Council, Sebastian County Democratic Committee and United Internaitonal Paper Workers. He attended Grand Avenue Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by one son, Robert Ware; and two brothers, Tommy Ware and Jimmy Ware. He is survived by his wife, Kathy Ware of Fort Smith; two daughters, Angela Moore of Midway, Ark., and Megan Ware of Fort Smith; two sons, Jerrid Ware and Joseph Ware, both of Fort Smith; five sisters, Wanda Bryan, Carolyn Loughary and Brenda Mason, all of Madisonville, Ky., Kay Robards of Morganfield, Ky., and Linda Sumpter of Earlington, Ky.; three brothers, Billy Ware of Providence, Ky., Danny Ware of Madisonville and David Ware of Fountain, Colo.; and 10 grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Grand Avenue Baptist Church in Fort Smith. Bural will be in U.S. National Cemetery in Fort Smith. Pallbearers will be Danny King, Alan Anderson, David Lyle, Danny Harshaw, Bill Shipp and Travis Pettyjohn. Visitation will be from 6 until 8 p.m. Monday at Putman Funeral Home in Fort Smith.
