Funeral services for Jessie Lee Ware, 15, of Jonesboro, who died Monday, Jan. 3, at St. Bernard’s Medical Center, will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Thompson Funeral Home of Trumann.
The Rev. Allen Ashlock will officiate, and burial will be in Wilson Cemetery at Harrisburg.
Pallbearers will be Richard Everhart, Troy Everhart, Matthew West, Ken Adams, Jerry Jarvis and Buddy Jarvis.
Born in Memphis, he had lived in Jonesboro for the past two years and was formerly of Blytheville. He was a member of the Boy Scouts of America and the Annie Camp Junior High School Choir. He was a former football player at Wilson Junior High School and had obtained a yellow belt in Takwondo.
Survivors include his father, Grady Roberts of Albany, La.; his mother, Alice Weatherford of Jonesboro; two sisters, Ava Ware of Jonesboro and Faith Roberts of Albany; two brothers, John Roberts of Jonesboro and Terry Ware of Camp Pendleton, Calif.; his maternal grandparents, Alice Ellis of Osceola and Clifton Ware of Grenada, Miss., and his paternal grandmother, Ann Everhart of Trumann.
Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
