Margaret Krause Ware Obituary, 1994

Margaret Krause Ware, 85, of Vineland and formerly of Ocean City and Shiloh, died Friday at the home of her daughter.

Mrs. Ware was a former board member and president of the Shiloh Board of Education.

In her younger years, Mrs. Ware worked as an artist and hand-painted glass for Wheaton Glass in Millville. She later was employed in the payroll department with the Pennsylvania Railroad in Philadelphia.

She also assisted her late husband, Dr. Carl Ware, with his medical practice in both Shiloh and Ocean City.

She was a member of the ladies’ auxiliary of the Cumberland and Cape May County Medical Societies and the New Jersey Medical Society.

In addition, she held memberships with the Seven Oaks and Matinee Musical in Bridgeton and the Cumberland chapter of the Order of Eastern Star.

She also was active as a volunteer with the Red Cross during World War II and was a former member of the First Presbyterian Church of Bridgeton.

Mrs. Ware was the daughter of the late Walter and Margaret Brown Krause.

She was born in Livingston and resided in Shiloh for many years. In 1962, she moved with her husband to Ocean City and later lived in Marmora for several years before moving to her Vineland address two years ago.

Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Peter (Suzanne) Casazza, with whom she resided, and Mrs. John (Carol) Gould of Shiloh; 11 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held 11:30 a.m. Wednesday at Broad Street Cemetery in Bridgeton.

Cremation and burial took place Saturday, and there was no public viewing.

Contributions may be made to either the Organ Fund of the First Presbyterian Church, West Giles and Commerce streets, Bridgeton 08302, or the charity of one’s choice.
